Automating and Unifying the Blog Publishing Experience
For Cellaxys, the goal was to streamline the blog publishing workflow while maintaining consistent structure and presentation. Based on a provided desktop mockup, we updated the blog post template to include advanced features that simplify content management and improve user experience.
Challenge: Scalability Meets Simplicity
The client wanted a modular, user-friendly system to ensure each blog post could include specific sections such as an updated post date, a dropdown table of contents, expandable “Sources” and “Footnotes” areas, and a consistent legal disclaimer. These features were implemented within the Salient WordPress theme using clean, reusable code that minimizes friction for non-technical editors.

- Added automatic last updated date display to each blog post
- Created a shortcode-based system for inserting footnotes and references
- Developed a collapsible “Sources” accordion section
- Edited the single post template to include a disclaimer below Sources
- Ensured all elements are modular and reusable across posts
